Reservations & Seating

Do I need a reservation at SET Steak & Sushi?
Reservations are not required, but they are recommended, especially for holidays or special events. We cannot guarantee tables will be available for walk-ins. Weekends are especially busy, and dinner tables are typically not available for walk-ins during that time.

Do you accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to reservations. During peak times, we cannot guarantee table availability. We recommend calling the restaurant before arriving to check current wait times.

Is there a party size limit for online reservations?
Online reservations are available for parties of up to 6 guests. For parties of 7 or more, please contact the restaurant directly.

Can I request patio seating?
Guests may request indoor or outdoor seating. However, during peak times we cannot guarantee that all seating requests will be accommodated.

Do you accommodate large parties or group reservations?
Yes. We accommodate large parties, private dining experiences, and full venue buyouts. More information and an inquiry form can be found here:

Large parties must be coordinated directly with the restaurant, as online reservations are limited to parties of up to 6 guests.

Do you offer private dining or event space?
Yes. We offer several private and semi-private event options:

  • Indoor private dining room: up to 32 seated / 40 standing

  • Semi-private outdoor table: up to 16 seated

  • Full indoor restaurant buyout: up to 125 seated / 165 standing

  • Full outdoor patio buyout: up to 135 seated / 175 standing

No, we do not offer a late-night menu.

  • Brunch: Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Dinner:

    • Sunday – Thursday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

    • Friday – Saturday: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Policies

What is your cancellation policy for reservations?
Our standard cancellation policy is $25 per person if canceled within 24 hours of the reservation time.

For holidays and special events, cancellation policies may differ. Guests are required to review and agree to the specific policy associated with their reservation.

Are children allowed?
Yes.

Do you allow outside cakes for celebrations?
Yes. There is a $8 cake slicing fee per slice.

Do you allow dogs on the patio?
Yes, dogs are allowed on the patio only. Service dogs are permitted.

SET Steak & Sushi is located inside the Pendry Hotel in Newport Beach, California.

Is there parking available?
Parking is valet only and operated by the Pendry Hotel. Guests dining at SET can validate their parking inside the restaurant for a discounted rate.

Additional parking may be available nearby on surrounding streets or in nearby parking garages within walking distance of the hotel.

Do you offer valet parking?
Yes. Parking at the hotel is valet only.

Is the restaurant wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Staff at both the hotel and restaurant are available to assist if needed.
